Roy Stewart (born 1961) is a surfer and Surfboard shaper from New Zealand, who pioneered hollow wooden surfboards with perimeter stringers. His Parallel Profile System (PPS),which he developed during the 1990's, is unique in the surfing world as it uses a cold molded boatbuilding (double diagonal) technique, rather than the conventional HWS (Hollow wooden surfboards) methods. This method has proven to be user friendly. He also developed tunnel fins for speed surfing. He invented an organic surfboard wax, the recipe for which he shared freely and is now being used by many companies.

He is married and has twelve children, ten of which are currently residing at home.
