Here you can learn everything around these extreme sports, including:
- Basics of each sport
- Locations (skate parks, climbing walls, ski resorts, etc.)
- Persons (professional athletes, adventurers, gurus, pioneers, cult figures and even weekend warriors can be listed as EWprofiles)
- Teams (anything from Joe Bike Shops MTB team to Santa Cruz Syndicate)
- Clubs (mountain bike, snowboard, ski, sky diving, etc. clubs are welcome to input their information to EW)
- Organizations (associations, federations, unions)
- Events (anything from local races to world cup's)
- Companies (gear manufacturers, service suppliers, local shops, etc.)
We want to create the long tail information center for these sports so that anything from A-Z can be found, at least on a link level from here.

ExtremeWiki was started 2008 by Ransu Salovaara as a "night shift"-project as he wanted to gather extreme sports knowledge somehow to one destination.
